The Shed Augustenborg for Ukraine feat. Aktarr and Hej Ukraina
In times of crisis, every contribution counts. The people of Ukraine and organizations at the front lines of response need our support.
The Shed Augustenborg is a non-profit organisation from Malmö that provides a space for people to be creative. We host small exhibitions at our cozy little shop and build a community of local creators.
As an organisation, social responsibility and inclusion are close to our hearts. Local support is usually our focus, but in times like these, we believe it is crucial to collectively support the people in Ukraine.
Along with this fundraiser, we are organizing an art exhibition at Aktarr, where we give away prints in return for your donations. See more details here.
In this exhibition, we will showcase the work of two incredible Ukrainian artists:
Anna Voda (@anna.voda): Anna is an artist from Kharkov, Ukraine whose work covers themes of mental and physical sexuality, nudity, body, and colour. For our exhibition we are featuring some of her digital illustrations that gives a peek into her art style.
Sofiia Lupul (@sofiialupul): Sofiia is a photographer from Ukraine whose work emphasis on woman of different characters, mood, intimacy and delicacy that’s represented through warm tones, elements and expressions.
When?
FRIDAY, 27 MAY 2022 FROM 17:00-22:00
Where? Aktarr أكترKaptensgatan 24, Malmö

Aktarr and Hej Ukraina, together with The Shed Augustenborg, invite you to a fundraising night with art, music, and drinks. All donations will go to UNHCR.
And as a special treat, Folkets Pops will be there early on to sell you delicious homemade popsicles.
The event is free, but we kindly ask you to contribute to the fundraiser.
Prints of the artists' work will be available for a donation as well.
Together, we can make a difference.
Aktarr, a news platform for Arabic speakers in Sweden, is hosting this event as part of its initiative to help Ukrainian refugees. Aktarr recently launched a new platform, Hej Ukraina, which collects and provides information from authorities, news, and job opportunities for Ukrainian refugees in Sweden – in their own language and in one place. Hej Ukraina is powered by Aktarr.
