I turn 28 in a few short days. I count my blessings and my heart is filled with gratitude to God, my families and all the wonderful people I have encountered. I have food to eat, clothes to keep me warm and a real house to live in but I sometimes complain about things that didn't go my way. I have learnt a more excellent way. This year I choose to think about people who have been forced to leave their homes and families, without food even for their little children and sleeping in tents with winter approaching. I want to give them my birthday presents. So please help by giving to UNHCR on my behalf so that refugees all over the world can be kept safe as they try to build a new life.
