Help me celebrate my birthday by giving to those in need
My 35th birthday is coming up and my 9 year old son tells me I should write a wish list. I gave it some thought and came up with absolutely nothing.
But I know that my heart aches when I see images or hear stories from people around the world who are fighting to survive. People who will get absolutely nothing for *their* birthday and who put "a roof over my head" at the top of their list.
I'm far away and (frankly) too scared to do something concrete but I want to at least make sure that those who are braver than me can help those in need.
It would warm my heart if you could help me reach that goal (more than any gift you could buy). Maybe you're not a close friend but maybe today is good day to give a little?
