Because of the violence supported by the leading party, people are tortured, killed everyday in Burundi for more than 6 months. Because of fear and danger for their life, more than 250 000 people have escaped the country and gathered in refugee camps (60% are children) in Rwanda and Tanzania.
The raining season leads to extra difficulties for them with disease spreading fast, being in tents with leakage, sleeping on a hard floor without bed. Everyday people die in those camps because of those difficult conditions and there is an urgent need to help them.
