These people live side by side to bombs, violence and death. Over 6,5 million people have been forced to leave their destroyed homes. Many are possessionless. Families have been forced to separate. 4,8 million people are today seeking refuge in neighboring countries, half of these being children. This is why we must act, NOW.

It is the sixth year of the Syrian civil war. This is a modern humanitarian catastrophe. UNHCR are presently working towards giving Syrian refugees aid in forms of food, water, shelter and health care, but they cannot do it alone.
